Apple’s September habit of launching iPhones is likely to happen. Ahead of the launch of the iPhone 13, the launch date began to leak, when do you think?

Based on a leak from the IT Home site, Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 13 on September 17. This leak comes from a screenshot of an e-commerce application from China found by ITHome.

The first time this information was known was from a screenshot shared on Weibo social media by the @PandaIsBald account. The screenshot indicates that all four iPhone 13 variants will go on sale on September 17, followed by sales of AirPods 3 on September 30, as quoted by MacRumors, Thursday (26/8/2021).

Only the screenshots, other than that IT Home does not provide additional information to support its claims. They’ve also previously shared inaccurate screenshots, so it’s best not to believe this leak outright.

However, given that Apple will be announcing a new iPhone again in September, it’s possible that the date above is true. Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives previously predicted the iPhone 13 would launch in the third week of September.

If you look at iPhone launch events in previous years, it’s likely that Apple will announce the iPhone 13 on September 7, September 14 or September 21. But this last date is quite unlikely because Apple has never held an iPhone launch event past September 15.

If you follow that prediction, it is likely that the launch of the iPhone 13 will fall between September 13 and 17. If that is the date of its inaugural sale, then it is likely that Apple will hold an event on September 7.

Although September is identical with the iPhone launch schedule, Apple was different from tradition when it delayed the launch of the iPhone 12 due to the pandemic. Perhaps last year was an exception, Apple launching the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro in October, then the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max in early November.

Apple’s era after Steve Job is different, the iPhone 13 itself is predicted to not bring significant changes compared to the iPhone 12. This phone will focus on bringing improvements in the photography sector, as well as carrying a smaller notch, a larger battery, and bringing performance improvements.
